Berlin is the unofficial capital of hipster cafes. So naturally, you’ll be ruined for choices here. I’ve done the hard work of sorting out only the best for you.
Look out for special hints in the map pins.
Keep in mind that most cafes in Berlin have a no laptop policy on weekends.
Berlin is the city of immigrants, therefore it offers a great variety of authentic cuisines from all around the world.
Most restaurants on this list are in the low to mid-range, so they won’t put a dent in your bank balance.
Keep in mind that many restaurants here still don’t accept card payments. So always carry some cash with you or at least check the reviews before you go.
If you visit Berlin in the summers, you’ll have a chance to enjoy the world famous German beers on tap while soaking in the drinking culture. Biergartens are mostly by the lakes, inside large parks or at least surrounded by some nature.
Keep in mind that Vom Fass are the beers directly from tap, while the rest are from the bottles. Bottled beer is also great here, but the ones from tap just hit different.
I just f*cking love ice cream. I can eat kilograms of it even in my sleep. So I’ve gone the extra mile to find the best Italian ice cream parlors in Berlin.

Keep in mind that most gelato parlors close early in winters and remain open until late in summers.
